Hopefully this quick blog catches you before your next Spring Cleaning, that next big move, or your need to do a closet purging. We're hoping that while your clearing out the old to make space for the new, you Rethink Recycle your Life with better ways to dispose of those old clothing items. You could become part of a solution right in your own home when dealing with a worldwide issue.
Retail Stores Are Catching On
Stores like H&M have come to understand the great magnitude our day to day fashion has to do with having a sustainable life in the future. Some retailers are actually creating new fashion lines out of recycled clothes. These stores are taking clothes customers are no longer wearing and having customers return them to their stores instead of the clothing items possibly ending up in these landfills.
H&M has been participating in what they're calling Garment Processing Program since 2013. Here at Rethink Recycle, we believe this is something we can all get behind in promoting a possible cleaner future.
